By Heather Steiner

Winter is the time of year for needing moisture for dry hands and dreaming of a vacation.  So why not combine the two?  Here’s a recipe for a hand scrub that does wonders for your hands and smells divinely of the tropics.  Enjoy!

Salt Scrub Ingredient List:

  • ¾ cup epsom salts
  • 2 Tablespoons of melted, organic coconut oil (solid at room temperature)
  • 2 Tablespoons organic liquid oil (olive, almond, avocado, whatever you like so long as it is organic and liquid at room temperature)
  • 5 drops Young Living Lime essential oil

Combine in a glass bowl and stir.  Store in the glass container of your choosing.  To use, scoop a small amount into wet hands, scrub, and rinse.  Or, try it on your feet for a real treat!  Use caution when using in the shower as the oils can make the floor slippery.
